This November I will be flying out to Nepal to trek for 3 weeks in the Himalayas over three high passes to lead us to the Base Camp of Mt Everest at a height of 17600feet and then up to Kala Patar at a height of 18208feet before we finally start our decent.
I’m taking on this challenge in memory of my sons closest friend Lewis who was struck down with Menigitis B and taken from us at the young age of just 19. This awful news shook our family and the local communities where he was so well loved.
Lewis’s parents Tracy and Morley have since been very keen to raise the awareness of Menigitis to try and prevent anyone else going through this horrendous ordeal. Hopefully I can raise some funds and do my bit in honour of lewis’s memory so please give what you can however small ❣️
